Eureka College
Announces Baccalaureate & Commencement Events
The
Rev. Richard Richards, senior minister at Eureka Christian Church
(Disciples
of Christ), Eureka, IL, will give the sermon at the Eureka College
baccalaureate, May 2,
6:30 pm, in Becker Auditorium in the Cerf College Center.

Robert J. Sternberg, Dean of Tufts University School of Arts and
Sciences, Medford,
Mass., will deliver the commencement address at the Eureka College graduation
exercises
May 3, 10:30 am, in Rinker Open Air Theatre on the Eureka College campus.

items
available to churches. If you are
interested in any item, you will need to make arrangements with
Rose Goyen of Country Financial to pick it up yourself
from University Christian Church, 206 W

· 1 Brass Cross, 6 ft. long and 4 ft.
wide, currently above the baptistery, 12 ft. off the floor.
You will need an extension ladder to get it down.
· 1 lap top computer
· 1 etched glass window, half moon shape,
with a Chalice etched in it, approximately 6 ft. long.
It
is currently above the two front doors of the church.

Missionaries, Bruce and Linda Hanson, Share about Life and Ministry in
Bruce
and Linda Hanson, our CCIW Mission Partners, are assigned to the Christian
Commission
on Development (CCD) to serve the Honduran Theological Community (CTH).
Bruce is teaching
HIV/AIDS education, prevention and care, while Linda is teaching theological
courses. They have
recently shared two reflections which describe the reality of life in
