UCC History & Polity Course 2012

Clergy wishing to be licensed, have privilege of call or ordination in the United Church of Christ and those interested in ministerial partner standing in the United Church of Christ need to take the UCC History & Polity Course.  For more information about the 2012 course, click here.

 

 
Clergy Ethics - Healthy Boundaries Clergy Training Requirement

It is recommended that clergy attend the Healthy Boundary Training sessions each year or at least one training session in the last three years.   Topic  this year will be Seeds of Hope - Pro-Reconciliation/Anti-Racism Training.  Resource speakers will be Chris Hobgood & Marcus Leathers.  Four sessions are offered annually - all four sessions will be offered March 14-17, 2012, 9am-3pm - one day each, moving around the Region.  Locations are:

Disciples History & Polity Course

This course is offered biennially by the CCIW Ministry Committee for commissioned ministers, students attending non-Disciple seminaries, ordained clergy seeking transfer of ordination, and U.C.C. clergy wanting to have Ordained Minister Partner standing with the Disciples of Christ.  A reflective paper on the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will be required following the course as a fulfillment of the course requirements.
