Disciples Mission Fund
 Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregations have
opportunity five times a year to give to special over and above
offerings through the Disciples Mission Fund. These offerings are
each designated for particular ministries of the wider church.
Publicity & resource materials are mailed to congregations by Disciples Mission Fund approximately two months before each offering. For Pentecost, Reconciliation and Christmas Offerings, specific regional resources are also posted on the regional website here.

Week of Compassion - February 19 & 26, 2012 |
|
 This offering goes entirely to Week of Compassion for disaster relief around
the world and on-going support of those people displaced by disaster, war,
food shortage, etc. Week of Compassion works with Disciples Volunteering
in sponsoring Mission Work Trips for rebuilding following disasters.
Week of Compassion mails their materials as requested by congregations.

Easter - April 1 & 8, 2012 |

 The 2012 Easter Special Offering supports the General
Ministries of our denomination. Your support of these
ministries extends our church's witness from your
doorsteps to the ends of the earth. Your gift to the
Easter Offering shares the message of resurrection
through...Missionaries touching lives around the
globe... Ministerial relief and assistance ...Stewardship education... Disciples Men and Women's Ministries... A fully inclusive table where we learn from our brothers and sisters in Christ... Proclaiming our identity and history as a people of Christian unity... Our shared mission as a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world... Education for and learning from children and youth... Leadership development... Evangelism Training... Hands on mission work... Global and domestic partnerships.
Promotional materials such as bulletin inserts, minutes for mission, power point presentations, and posters are available on the Disciples Mission Fund Website. Offerings will be received in congregations on April 1 & 8, 2012. |

Pentecost - May 20 & 27, 2012 |
|
This offering supports the Disciples New Church Ministry and is divided 50/50 between the Regional New Church Ministry (from which it is given) and the General Church New Church Ministry through Church Extension. Promotional materials are available from Disciples Mission Fund.
