Natural Church Development is a program developed by Christian Swartz that addresses church growth and the problems churches have that hinder that growth. The CCIW Regional Clergy Staff are all trained consultants and able to help you implement this program in your congregations as an addition to your visioning and planning processes. The program looks at the 8 quality characteristics of a healthy and vital congregation. Those characteristics include: Empowering Leadership, Gift-Oriented Ministry, Passionate Spirituality, Functional Structures, Inspiring Worship Service, Holistic Small Groups, Need-Oriented Evangelism, Loving Relationships. Through study of several reading sources and the completion of a survey, your congregation will be able to determine a primary direction to focus congregational efforts at growing health and vitality. That quality to be worked upon is known as "the Minimum Factor." We have had about a dozen churches, to date, participate and consider it to be one of the most important things they have done in recent years. Call the Regional Office, 309-828-6293 for more information and costs involved in this new and vital program in the life of our church. |
