| The idea for a
Regional capital campaign grew out of a dream to address the funding
issues of the local and Regional church. This is a great opportunity for
local churches to strengthen their ministry. We can ask, 'What God is
calling us to do?' and 'What financial resources do we need in order to
be faithful to God's call?'
The campaign focuses on local congregations and offers the following: 1. we help churches get focused on mission, "What is God calling us to do?" 2. we help churches raise funds to fuel the mission There is excitement about working with churches as they explore their future, being faithful to God's call for them. We think that this campaign can transform the church - both local and Regional - and make it more vital. A vital church is one that is sensitive and responsive to local needs as well as to those beyond the four walls of the congregation. A vital church is the gift we are being called to give to this generation and the next!
