| In a letter the Regional Office received from NBA
Woodhaven, is the following news:
"Last week we were notified by the Campbell's Soup Company that
their labels for Education program is making a dramatic change.
Rather than collecting the front label portion of labels as in the past,
Campbell's will now only take the UPC barcodes.
Campbell's is allowing us to send one more shipment of labels before
the end of 2006. We are asking everyone on our "souper"
team to send us their labels by December 1 so that we can make this
deadline.
Please continue to collect the UPC barcodes on our behalf. This
program truly makes a difference for the individuals with developmental
disabilities we serve by allowing us to get many items for them we
otherwise could not. We've purchased five vans, several computers,
craft supplies, games, a karaoke machine, a projector and many other
items through the years. We need the support of our church family
and friends to continue to be successful with this.
To those who have helped with our Campbell's program in the past,
please accept our heartfelt thanks. I hope you will all continue
to support Woodhaven by saving the barcodes for us. With your
help, we are making a difference for people with disabilities."
Sincerely,
