There are two choices of study materials for Disciples Women this coming year: Just Women Magazine or New Day for Christians.
 Just Women Magazine has been published by the International Disciples Women Ministries and Disciples World magazine. Though Disciples World has ceased publication, the International Disciples Women Ministries (IDWM) will continue the Just Women magazine. You may purchase it as an annual subscription for 4 issues - one each quarter. The Winter, Summer, and Fall issues are set up for three sessions that you can use for three monthly meetings. The Spring issue is a Bible study that is set up for 9 sessions - you can use three sesions for your monthly meetings and the other six sessions as a weekly Bible study during church school hour or whatever you choose.  New Day for Christians, One Person Can Make a Difference!, is published by Christian Board of Publication (Chalice Press) and is similar to the New Day materials that you have used the last several years, except that they are now for all small groups (men and women). Christian Board and Global Ministries are working together to produce these materials with a mission emphasis. The Leader's Guide for New Day is available only online as an E-book - which means you purchase the right to download it to your computer. You will need to also download the Adobe Digital Edition software in order to read the Guide - the software is free. |
